CEO Carnaval & Art
Camila Vidaurre Soares is CEO and founder of Carnaval & Art, Master in Production Engineering and since 2002, actively participates in the organization and production of the samba schools Grande Rio and Pimpolhos, being immersed in the production factories of the greatest show on earth for 2 decades and interacting with great professionals in the art of carnival.
During her trajectory she worked in the area of production and artistic management, being in charge of the construction and management of the Pimpolhos of Grande Rio youth samba school and developing artistic, social and educational projects.
Coordinated the implementation of technology and engineering projects at the Grande Rio samba school and in 2012 founded the Carnival Tourism Program – Carnaval Experience; which has been consolidating as an important tourist attraction in the city of Rio de Janeiro, opening the ludic universe of carnival to the general public and presenting the backstage and history of the biggest popular party in the world.
Academic Education:
- Master in Production Engineering by UFF-PURO;
- Post-Graduate in Entertainment Management by ESPM – Rio;
- Post-Graduate in Business Management by FGV –Rio;
- Graduated in Cinema from Estácio de Sá University.

Partnership Carnaval & Art and Pimpolhos of Grande Rio
Over the last few years, Carnaval & Art, has been supporting Pimpolhos of Grande Rio in the areas of management, innovation and fundraising, carrying out a work aimed at fulfilling the mission, vision and objectives of the youth samba school. In this sense, Carnaval & Art acts directly in the development of the social, educational, cultural, professional and sustainability programs of Pimpolhos da Grande Rio.
As a result of this partnership, Pimpolhos and Carnaval & Art jointly carry out free socio-cultural and educational programs with different actions, such as: Artistic workshops, cultural tours, lectures and debates for children, adolescent and adults, having benefited thousands of people throughout this partnership.
Carnaval & Art also channels its efforts into the development of social businesses aimed at Pimpolhos' socioeconomic sustainability. Within this context, Pimpolhos has been developing along with the Carnaval Experience Tourism Program, which since 2013 has been carried out with the objectives of bringing economic, cultural and social sustainability to the youth samba school and to carnival professionals.
